Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday for the 2025 Sonoma County Fair. It will take place Aug.1-10 at the Sonoma County fairgrounds, 1450 Bennett Valley Road in Santa Rosa. The fair will be closed Aug. 4. Its theme will be “Hot Dogs and Cool Cats,” while its flower show theme will be “Petals & Pets.”The advance sales box office at the fairgrounds will open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on most Saturdays until August. Tickets may also be purchased online at sonomacountyfair.com.

The Blue Note Jazz Festival’s Black Radio Experience, introduced last year, returns Aug. 29-31 to The Meritage Resort and Spa in Napa. Ira Glass, “Whose Live Anyway?,” Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass, and Dave Koz and Friends are among the 11 acts Santa Rosa’s Luther Burbank Center for the Arts is adding to its current season. To date, 52 performances are currently being offered by the center, which continues to expand its programming throughout the year. Tickets for all of the new shows go on sale first to Luther Burbank Center members at 10 a.m. Monday, May 19, then to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday, May 30.
