    THE NEXT 24 HOURSLovely weather is on the way for this evening. Showers will end early over northeastern Middle Tennessee, leaving behind a mainly clear sky. Temperatures will fall through the 60s. Early Saturday will start in the 50s with low humidity continuing. Saturday afternoon looks partly cloudy, breezy, and warm. High, 83.

    THE NEXT 24 HOURSA few showers and thundershowers will be possible this evening, but most will not experience them. Our weather will remain warm and humid with temperatures settling into the 60s. After midnight, showers and thunderstorms will develop over southwest Kentucky and spread east-southeastward into Middle Tennessee. A storm or two could become strong to severe, producing damaging wind and heavy downpours. There’s a lower threat (but still existing) for hail and/or an isolated tornado.

    THE NEXT 24 HOURSA few passing showers are possible this afternoon. Rain chance, 50%. Our weather will remain mostly cloudy, mild, and muggy. High, 76. A brief shower is possible tonight, too, but most areas will remain dry. Areas of fog could develop, especially on some of the hills and mountains of the Midstate. Tomorrow looks mostly cloudy, although we’ll have more peeks of sunshine than today, mainly during the afternoon.

    THE NEXT 24 HOURSThis evening, a period of rain or a few showers will be possible south of I-40. In Nashville and northward, it’ll remain dry. Temperatures will hold in the 60s. Sunday is a First Alert Weather Day. A batch of showers and thunderstorms is likely to move through Middle Tennessee. A few of those storms could be strong to severe, producing damaging wind gusts. The most likely area to receive any strong storms will be southwestern Middle Tennessee. Sunday’s low will be 60°.

    THE NEXT 24 HOURSThis evening looks lovely. Temperatures will drop quickly, through the 60s and eventually into the 50s. Humidity will remain low. Late tonight, clouds will increase. Toward morning, a few showers and thundershowers will be possible over southwestern Middle Tennessee. Saturday will be mostly cloudy and cool for late May. Rain will be most likely southwest of Nashville. Nashville’s rain chance will be 50%. Northeastern Middle Tennessee will remain dry.
