Mawadri, who residents refer to as Buccupa, (bottles), criss-crosses the town council in search of discarded plastic bottles and polythene bags, which he sells to recycling companies. He earns between Shs2,500 and Shs4,500 per day depending on the amount in kilogrammes of plastics collected.
