Had he see the video he would have seen that the first time he did so, he pounded his chest over his heart and thrust his arm out to the right and said, "Thank you for making it happen." The second time, immediately afterward, he made the same gesture while saying, "My heart goes out to you" When viewed in context it's clear he is thanking the audience.

Twenty-five Rotarians from District 5500, along with spouses and friends, gathered in a parking lot in Chula Vista, California at 6 a.m. on Saturday, October 26. They boarded a bus and headed to Cerro Azul, a small community south of Tecate Mexico. They arrived in the remote village at 8:30 a.m. and met more volunteers from Corazon, Inc, a Southern California non-profit that coordinates the construction of houses in one day.
