Lee Corso's nearly four-decade run on ESPN's “College GameDay” is coming to an end. Corso, the longtime ESPN broadcaster and folksy former coach widely known for his endearing expressions and elaborate headgear picks, is set to retire after a career with the show that began in 1987, ESPN announced Thursday. His final broadcast will be Aug. 30 - Week 1 of the 2025 college football season - and the network said additional programming to celebrate Corso is also planned.

Arnold took over the boys program in late September and the Leopards finished 5-16. "Coach Arnold now has a full off season to work with the kids," said Smith adding the team was young last year and return just about everyone.

The Ohio State football team was honored at the White House today with President Donald Trump. Several dignitaries with local ties were part of the celebration and were introduced by the President including Lt. Governor & former Ohio State coach Jim Tressel, JJ Cafaro of the Cafaro Coporation and East Palestine Mayor Trent Conaway. President Trump highlighted the teams success and even made reference to becoming Coach Ryan Day's agent because of how good a coach he is.

Former Youngstown State basketball coach Jerrod Calhoun had a great season in his first year at Utah State. The seven year coach of the Penguins took the Utah State job shortly after the 2023-24 season ended. "I wanted to take the next step. It was my goal to be in a multi bid league and the Mountain West is an elite conference," stated Calhoun whose team went 26-8 and earned a 10th seed in the NCAA Tournament.
