With a lot of excitement, my daughter approached me to inform me that some of the apps on her phone were offering fantastic deals on various items in observance of Women’s Day. Even though those things weren’t really helpful to me, she persisted in pushing to induce me to buy them merely because they were currently on sale. Celebrated annually on March 8th since 1911, International Women’s Day (IWD) honors the social, cultural, political, and economic accomplishments of women worldwide.

Clean energy security is central to India’s economic growth and sustainable development. However, nuclear power plants take 5 to 17 years longer to construct from planning to production. Additionally, nuclear power emits 23 times more carbon per unit of electricity generated than onshore wind power and costs five times more per kilowatt. The operational cost of nuclear power plants is significantly high, making them an expensive and less viable energy source compared to renewable alternatives.

With the world awash in countless power-hungry cloud-computing and AI data centers, crypto mining farms, growing fleets of electrical vehicles, new all-electric homes and commercial buildings, existing power generation capacity and distribution grids globally are experiencing overloads and power supply shortages. In the US, operators are looking at increasing the electrical power supply by 3.5 gigawatts of additional generating power which is enough to power three million homes.
