The curtain officially came down on Windsor & Eton’s season last night (Tuesday) with a narrow 1-0 defeat to North Greenford United in the quarterfinals of the Premier Challenge Cup. The Royalists had thought their campaign had ended a week or so ago, following the conclusion of their title-winning league campaign. However, they were pulled back in from the cold in the Premier Challenge Cup thanks to Harefield United’s expulsion from the competition.
