1. IntroductionIn 2020, the number of people in the United States living with end stage renal disease (ESRD) exceeded 800,000 with 69% of them on dialysis. This represents a substantial growth of about 35% over two decades [1]. Compared to the general population, bradyarrhythmia is more common in patients with ESRD, and they experience a higher rate of pacemaker implantation [2,3].
