    The A44 was closed for a number of hours today (June 19) near Broadwas following a two-vehicle crash on the A44 in which three people were injured. Emergency services rushed to the scene at around 1pm and found a man and a woman trapped in their vehicles before being released by firefighters. A woman, who was the driver of a car, has sustained serious injuries following the crash on the A44 and has been taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital by land ambulance.

    Staff at Dogs Trust in Evesham say there is no safe amount of time to leave dogs in hot cars. The warning has come as the UK continues to battle with a heatwave, with temperatures in Worcestershire expected to reach higher than 30 degrees.
