One person is dead and 11 others are injured following a mass shooting early Sunday morning in the Mountain View community of southwest Catawba County, North Carolina. According to the Catawba County Sheriff's Office, deputies and Hickory Police officers responded around 12:45 a.m. to reports of multiple people shot at a residence on Walnut Acres Drive. In total, 12 victims have been reported.
