Tom Brady still believes in crypto. The legendary quarterback turned Fox NFL broadcaster is among the investors pouring $18 million into Catena Labs, which aims to “establish the first fully regulated AI-native financial institution” to serve what is known as the “agentic commerce” marketplace, according to an announcement last week. The funding round is led by a16z crypto, plus participation from the likes of Breyer Capital, Circle Ventures, Coinbase Ventures, Brady, and more.

It might not seem like that many when compared to multi-movie franchises such as Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Harry Potter, and the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but the fact that we now have five Ghostbusters films in existence is a big deal for fans. And who knows what the future of the franchise looks like. More movies, perhaps? Maybe even a live-action TV series?

But while many of them deserve all the attention fans give them, as with any franchise, there are some who are often put on a pedestal for no good reason (in our opinion, of course).
