5 1/1 An endangered mammal in the UK has been spotted at a Wiltshire and Berkshire Canal Trust canal site. Water voles have been photographed enjoying the area around the canal in Royal Wootton Bassett. Penny Birch was in the area when she spotted some and captured some fantastic photos.

The rare K8 red telephone box in Wroughton, Woodlands View (Image: Wroughton Parish Council/Historic England) A scarce and listed rare type of phone box that can be found in Wroughton has been removed from its location. Wroughton is home to two of the remaining red K8 telephone boxes in the UK, of which there are only twelve. One is in Woodland View and one is Langton Park, south of the village. However, the former has recently disappeared from its longstanding spot.
