It’s been a long time since Sydney Dragway in Eastern Creek has had trucks take to the track. But now, thanks to twins Aaron and Daniel Fuller, trucks of all makes and models are being invited to head down the racetrack. “The last time an event like this was held at Sydney Dragway was 10 years ago and that was a one-off event, as opposed to a street-meet that we’re going to be hosting,” said Aaron. These third generation truckies revealed they grew up around trucks – and drag racing.

A total of 120 trucks made their way to the town of Jimboomba in Queensland to take part in the very first Scenic Rim Truck Show, which raised money for a worthy cause. Held at Jimboomba Primary School oval on Saturday May 31, the event was organised by long-time friends and Jimboomba locals Tracey Armstrong and Janet Smith.

As this well regarded Queensland transport operator heads into retirement, the business he started over 20 years ago carries on. Tim and Theresa Welk started Camrandale Transport back in 2004 and built a trusted name in livestock transport, in Queensland’s Central West. The name Camrandale was derived by combining the names of their two sons Cameron and Dale Welk, who have both been involved in the family business.

JUNEAlexandra Truck, Ute and Rod ShowJune 7-8Alexandra, VICThe Alexandra Truck Show is back on the King’s Birthday weekend in June this year, with a Sunday Show ‘n’ Shine on the town’s main street, as well as live music, a Victorian woodchop tournament, exhibitions, trade displays, kids’ amusements and a raffle. Come down on Saturday for the local markets, a convoy and truck drivers’ memorial.

Though plenty of rain threatened to derail plans for the Team Shoalhaven BBR Inc 2025 Truck Show at Nowra Speedway in New South Wales, visitors were treated to a spectacular event. Held on Sunday May 25, the event included plenty to see and do, with 15 trophies presented to stand-out rigs. It set out to raise money for Beyond Blue and managed to raise a total of $9000 for the mental health charity.
