A huge announcement was made by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) this week and it could affect the quality of many dairy products you purchase. According to an internal email obtained by Reuters, the FDA has suspended its quality control program for testing of fluid milk and other dairy products. The decision to make that drastic move is due to reduced capacity in the FDA's food safety and nutrition division.
