GRAND RAPIDS, MI - Aquinas College President Alicia Córdoba has resigned less than three years after taking the position at the private Catholic school, a spokesperson for the university confirmed Tuesday. The university has already approved an interim replacement, with Córdoba’s resignation effective Monday, April 7.

ALLENDALE, MI - Two international students at Grand Valley State University (GVSU) have had their visas revoked by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, according to a university spokesperson. University leaders only learned the students’ visas had been revoked when media reports about similar occurrences at other universities nationwide prompted a review of GVSU’s own records maintained by the Department of Homeland Security.

GRAND RAPIDS, MI - The Diocese of Grand Rapids recently announced the selection of its next superintendent of Catholic schools, replacing 15-year Superintendent Dave Faber. Faber, who announced his retirement last May, will be succeeded by Sarah Grey. She’s served as assistant superintendent for Catholic schools since Fall of 2020.
