    KALAMAZOO, MI -- Kalamazoo College is building two new residence halls. The new dorms are being constructed to meet a need for “affordable” student housing as the price of off-campus housing continues to increase, a press release from Kalamazoo College said. Construction will start in May on West Main Street. New residence halls haven’t been built at the university since 1967, according to the release. The new residence halls will cost $55 million to build.
