WEST ORANGE, NJ — The Livingston Health Department (LHD) will offer a free Walking Club this spring, meeting every Friday morning at 10 a.m. at the South Mountain Recreation Complex located at 9 Cherry Lane in West Orange, from April 18 through June 13 (weather permitting). The Walking Club is free and open to adults over the age of 18. Participants will meet in the free public parking lot at McLoone’s Boathouse. The walk is 1.75 miles around the reservoir, which should take about one hour.

LIVINGSTON, NJ – Livingston scored two runs in each of the first three innings and went on to a 7-2 softball victory over Hanover Park on Wednesday. Valentina Dilanni scored three runs and went 2-for-4 for Livingston (2-2), which scored its other run in the fifth inning. Sophie Rothfeld was 2-for-2 with two RBI, Joelle Bent had two hits and one RBI, Tvisha Reikhy singled twice and scored twice, and Olivia Mellucci knocked in two runs for the Lancers.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — The Livingston High School boys track and field team is off to a winning start in its spring season with convincing wins in dual meet match-ups against Montclair High School and East Orange Campus. Standout Early-Season Performances:In the Shot Put, the Lancers had strong performances from returners Sam Jean Marie (45-11), Karima Barakat (40-1), and Grayson Alpert (38-0), sweeping the event against both schools.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — Luke Piche racked up seven assists to go with three goals of his own to help Livingston to a 16-5 boys lacrosse victory over Parsippany Hills on Monday. Hudson Siegel led the Lancers (2-2) in goals with five and had one assist. Livingston outscored Par Hills, 6-1, in the second quarter to take a 10-3 halftime lead. Zemir Faith scored three goals for Livingston. Mitchell Snow was 8-for-13 on faceoffs and Sam Kanchik 7-for-12 on faceoffs. Frank Bagolie of Livingston made nine saves.
