Is it time for flowers? Absolutely! With the warmth of May upon us and greenhouses bursting with life, it's the perfect moment to dive into gardening. My wife has already been busy, carefully selecting her favorite plants for our backyard oasis. She's about 75% stocked up, but there's still a bit of room for those last few special finds. Once she's done planting, the baton gets passed to me-her trusted plant caregiver. Watering the plants is relaxing for me.

This Monday was a BIG day in our household as our Barkley, celebrated his graduation! Now, before you start thinking about caps and gowns, let me clarify-my youngest is my adorable puppy, and he just completed his obedience class with flying colors!We owe a huge thank you to Kelsey from The Thriving K-9, who turned every class into a fun and educational adventure. Her incredible skills with the dogs helped them learn and grow so much over the past few weeks.

There's nothing like the satisfaction of a freshly raked and mowed lawn, even if it means sporting a few blisters as battle scars! This weekend, I took on the yard with gusto, and boy, did it need some TLC. After what felt like an eternity under a cement-like blanket of snow mold, my lawn was finally ready for its spring awakening. With the sun shining down, I decided it was the perfect day to lower the lawn mower and tackle that winter buildup.

For the next 10 days, our home is extra pawsome! My sister's adorable dog, Nova, is staying with us while she's off on a well-deserved vacation. Barkley, my fur baby, couldn't be happier to have a buddy to romp around with!These two little bundles of joy are not only the same breed but also the best of pals already. Yesterday marked Day 1 of their staycation, and let me tell you, they played until their little hearts were content.
