50 year old Patrick Simmons was reported missing yesterday (Thurs), and was last heard from on April 30th while he was Dauphin and he told a family member that he was planning to travel to Somerset but never arrived. Simmons is described as 5'11 tall, approximately 200 pounds, balding with brown/blonde hair on the sides and when last seen was wearing a black/grey hoodie. On April 1, Humboldt RCMP received a report of an armed robbery on Highway 5. They say a man allegedly stole a vehicle from a another man, who was pulled over on the side of the road. The suspect was eventually arrested near Watrous. 30-year-old Brandon Burns was in Saskatoon Provincial Court yesterday (Thu), where he had his matters adjourned to next Thursday for a bail hearing.

First off on Wednesday, 15 year old forward and Waywayseecappo First Nation product Athens Shingoose was selected in the first round, 16th overall by the Prince Albert Raiders. Yorkton Man Accused in Kidnapping and Drug Trafficking Case, Appears in Court Again

Another court appearance has been made by one of two men, arrested on kidnapping and drug trafficking charges in the Yorkton area. 46-year-old Ryan Langford of Yorkton was in Yorkton Provincial Court today (Thu), where he was remanded in custody to May 23. His co-accused, 23-year-old Parteek Sandhu of Etobicoke, Ontario, returns to court on July 25. Last July, Mounties searched a business in Yorkton as part of a drug trafficking investigation.
