The Dallas Cowboys might look a little different this year, and one thing we are hoping takes on a whole new identity is their rushing attack. New head coach Brian Schottenheimer has preached its significance and plans to make it a point of emphasis this year, which is why the team also added two of the best offensive line coaches in football with the hires of offensive coordinator Klayton Adams and offensive line coach Conor Riley.

There is an extreme difference in the way the Philadelphia Eagles construct their roster compared to how the Dallas Cowboys do it. We are all aware that the Cowboys’ front office is very selective in spending its cap resources. They are very risk-averse with their free agent spending, sticking to a yearly budget, and dragging out the extensions of their own players as long as possible to ensure what they are buying is a good investment. The Eagles’ front office is the polar opposite.

With more and more football activities ramping up, the time is coming for us to start identifying some of our training camp crushes. Yes, we want all players on the Dallas Cowboys to work out, but it’s inevitable that we migrate to our favorites and start buying tickets to the hype train. There can be several reasons that we take a particular interest in a player. Perhaps it was a draft prospect we once touted, and we are now looking to confirm some priors.

The Dallas Cowboys made a big move to acquire wide receiver George Pickens from the Pittsburgh Steelers. The 24-year-old receiver has eclipsed 800 yards receiving in each of the three seasons he’s been in the league, including a 1,140 showing in 2023. The addition of Pickens, combined with three-time All-Pro CeeDee Lamb, should make for quite the one-two punch for the Cowboys' aerial attack.
