Several media outlets reported that the Virginia head coach was expected to be the next leader of the Bulldogs and Kendall Rogers of DIBaseball wrote that O'Connor was the “clear-cut front runner” for the job in Starkville. There has been no official word coming from MSU and nothing is expected until the Bulldogs complete their season.
