1. IntroductionEarthquake surface ruptures are a visible indication of fault activity, and studying the spatial extent and displacement distribution of these ruptures is crucial for understanding the behavior of active faults during seismic events [1]. They also provide an excellent opportunity to investigate the mechanisms and dynamics of regional tectonic deformations.
