    The family business of the president-elect Donald Trump will build five 20-story condo towers at the Trump National Doral resort, according to an approval by the Doral City Council, Bloomberg reported. The resort’s value, estimated at around $350 million, is expected to be boosted with the new tall buildings which offer more detail space. Eric Trump, the company’s executive vice president, said that it was "incredible" that the project received unanimous support from local authorities.

    The Assurance Package Seniors’ Bonus applies to senior citizens who do not own more than one property with annual income of SGD34,000 or lower, according to the Ministry of Finance. The annual value of their property must be SGD31,000 or lower. Last year the Assurance Package program was approved for a $1.9 billion increase to fund its citizen support.

    The index closed 6.2 points higher after gaining 7.1 points in the previous session. Trading on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange increased by 28% to VND13.32 trillion (US$525 million). The VN-30 basket, comprising the 30 largest capped stocks, saw 22 tickers gained. VCB of state-owned lender Vietcombank led with a 1.4% rise, followed by SSI of brokerage SSI Securities Corporation and STB of Ho Chi Minh City-based lender Sacombank, both went up 1%.
