Beautiful weekend ahead with plenty of sunshine and low humidity•Jul 25, 2024, 9:55 AM•Updated 7 min agoPicture-perfect weather is expected his weekend. We’ve only had a handful of ideal weather weekends this year – this weekend will be one of them. Saturday and Sunday will feature sunshine and wonderful warmth with mostly low humidity. Early next week starts OK, but it looks like unsettled weather returns mid-week. Heat returns late next week as well.

Beautiful weekend ahead for New Jersey with sunny skies and warm temperatures•Jul 26, 2024, 10:29 AM•Updated 7 min agoThe weather is picture-perfect. We haven’t had too many weekends this summer where both Saturday and Sunday and been wonderful. Let's enjoy the anomaly while it lasts. OVERNIGHT: Skies are clear to partly cloudy tonight. Some spots north and west will drop down to the low-50s tonight. Otherwise, low- to mid-60s for the rest of the state. SATURDAY: Mainly sunny, warm and dry.

The brief break from the intense heat and humidity this summer is becoming known for was a welcome relief today. I think it's likely tomorrow will also be the same way after some possible trouble spots with morning downpours. Some of these rains will be accompanied by grumbles of thunder and flashes of lightning. Visibilities will drop quickly and water will collect rapidly on streets and highways. Slow down and give yourself extra space between you and the driver ahead of you should that happen.

Cloudy and rainy start to the week; conditions clear by the weekend•Jul 22, 2024, 9:57 AM•Updated 18 min agoIn a nutshell, this week looks more dreary and damp than sun-filled. If this is your vacation week, I apologize. Nothing I can do about it, but there will be moments of passing storms. Now I'm not saying the entire week is a washout. It isn't - and it looks like the bulk of the rain happens mostly at night - like tonight and very, very, very early in the morning on Wednesday.

It will be smooth sailing weather-wise in New Jersey until July 4. This is when summery weather returns with a threat of afternoon and evening storms. TONIGHT: Clear and comfortable, with lows in the 50s and 60s again. WEDNESDAY: It will be the last day without humidity being an issue in the forecast. Temperatures will be seasonable in the mid-80s. As the day wears on, you'll notice it getting just a touch more humid.

TURN FOR THE BETTER👍 For the 1st time since November 5th parts of #NJ are no longer in Extreme drought. In fact a small area of the State is out all together! Significant improvement because of the active wx pattern. #NJwx @News12NJ #drought https://t.co/RzX9wtEbPM
