In the first dual meet win of the season, Brady Arnold swept the hurdles. Ethan Reed won the javelin and anchored the 4x400 team's victorious relay. Grady Garcia took the 400 and was the third leg in the 4x4 relay.

In the nightcap, Warrior Run earned a trip to its first District 4 championship game since 1999.

    FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP - Entering the Charles Nesbitt Gymnasium on Monday evening, Warrior Run knew what was at stake. A win over the home Tigers, and it would win its first outright division title since the turn of the century. With a strong second-half effort, and clutch defensive stops down the stretch, Southern Columbia spoiled that opportunity for the Defenders.

In a contest that neither team could extend a lead to double digits, the Wildcats were clutch in the final minutes from the free-throw line to beat the Tigers, 54-48.
