    Due process protects us allEditor: Remember when James Carville said, “It’s the economy, stupid?” Well, nowadays we need to tell the administration and Congress, “It’s the due process, stupid.” Nobody wants criminals who have been convicted (not just accused) of a serious crime (not just a single misdemeanor) to remain in the United States.

    A Hartford, Connecticut man standing outside his disabled commercial vehicle was hit and fatally injured in a hit-and-run crash on Interstate 80 in Butler Twp. Friday afternoon, state police said. The name of the 53-year-old victim, who was hit by a second commercial vehicle, was not released pending notification of survivors. The incident occurred at 2:31 p.m. on the eastbound side of the interstate about three miles west of the Interstate 81 interchange, closing I-80 East for several hours.
