    A Wilkes-Barre man is facing child sex charges after messaging an undercover cop online and trying to arrange a sexual meeting with a minor, according to police. Thomas Clayton Clark, 62, of 54 Mill St., was arrested Monday after police say they learned he had plans to molest what appeared to be a real child. According to the complaint, Clark began emailing a Kingston Twp. police detective who was posing online as an adult with access to a child under the age of 16.

    A Freeland man accused of opening fire during an underage drinking party in Hazleton, killing one person and injuring four others, was charged Wednesday with intimidating witnesses in the case, while his attorney alleges a city police detective has engaged in some intimidation of his own.
