We’re baaaaaaack! The Motion Motorsport Report returns again this year offering you, the fans, a ‘Coles Notes’ summary of what happened in the racing world on each and every weekend. We cover all the major sanctioning bodies and list the races at many of the local tracks. And I do it as a hobby because I love all things motorsport. OH Canada!! Canada was well represented in Florida this year. In the Rolex we had the two Multimatic Mustangs plus Pfaff Racing’s new Lambo ride.

The FIA has announced Formula 1 Race Director Niels Wittich has left his role with immediate effect to “pursue new opportunities.” Translation: You are no Charlie Whiting so you’re fired. F1 has been in freefall since Charlie died 5 years ago and it will be really hard to recover!!Having said that, the FIA fired the wrong party. Those fines and penalties were to the teams of Ross Chastain, Austin Cindric and Bubba Wallace.

In this week’s Motion Motorsports Report for InsideTrackNews.com, Dave Mathers updates us on two weeks of action, as well as commenting on some recent events in the world of racing. This week you get a ‘TWOFER’!! Two weeks in one. The staff at Inside Track was super busy with important meetings about the upcoming and always popular Toronto Motorama Show on March 7,8 and 9, 2025. As a result, the decision was made to not do the report last week but do a double this week.

In this week’s Motion Motorsport Report for InsideTrackNews.com, Dave Mathers discusses some recent events in the world of racing, before turning his attention to NASCAR at Talladega, Flamboro’s Frostoberfest and much more. Former NBA star turned racing team owner Michael Jordan is suing NASCAR claiming that they are running an unlawful monopoly in the sport of stock car racing. All I can say is good luck with that.
