Image: WWEThe 4/7 episode of WWE Raw on Netflix looks to have done its second lowest numbers in the U.S. and similarly elsewhere as it declined from last week and was even below most weeks that didn’t include India. Netflix listed the show as doing 2.8 million views and 5.7 million total viewed hours which would be a drop of 3.4 percent from the prior week based on their numbers. The revelations a few weeks ago that Chris Benoit had significant brain damage, Chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) from multiple concussions suffered as a pro wrestler was no more of a surprise than his name coming up in steroid investigations. A normal person doesn’t do the crimes Benoit apparently did. For the week of 3/31 to 4/6, WWE SmackDown was the top rated entertainment show of the week on cable television, while AEW Dynamite was sixth place. If you would have included MAX numbers it would likely have been third behind SmackDown and White Lotus, and if you had included MAX number White Lotus would have been easily first and SmackDown would have been second. Among all shows on cable during the week, SmackDown finished sixth, behind five NCAA women’s basketball game tournaments.

This makes zero sense. 200,000 would be less than the logical number you'd get from being in 54% new homes that didn't have TBS to begin with. The logical number would be 350,000.

@davemeltzerWON Dave... if 200k watch on max it would mean the tv raitings declined to pre max numbers burt they didnt. Or are you seriously suggesting people watch the show twice.

There was only one Hogan at the time. It would not have worked with anyone else.

@davemeltzerWON Thanks Dave. Do you think Magnum T.A. could have done it if he didn't have his accident?

In 1984, they at first thought Piper had to be a manager before they changed their minds.

@davemeltzerWON What about Piper as a face?
