The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, often known as WON, focuses on the worlds of professional wrestling and mixed martial arts. Established in 1982 by Dave Meltzer as a printed publication, it joined forces with Bryan Alvarez's Figure Four Weekly website in 2008. Readers can find issues available both in print and digital formats. WON is widely recognized as one of the original "dirt sheets," providing insights and news from a real-life viewpoint about the wrestling industry.

    Several new matches have been signed for this week’s AEW Collision Playoff Palooza special, including a Women’s World title eliminator. As revealed during Wednesday’s Dynamite, Women’s World Champion Toni Storm will face Queen Aminata in a title eliminator bout on the Saturday, April 26 AEW Collision Playoff Palooza episode. If Aminata wins, she earns a title shot. The Ring of Honor World Championship will also be on the line at Playoff Palooza, with Bandido defending against Dralistico.

    The second Owen Hart Foundation men’s tournament semifinals matchup is official for next week’s AEW Dynamite. As announced during Wednesday’s show, Hangman Adam Page will face Kyle Fletcher in an Owen Hart tournament semifinal on the April 30 AEW Dynamite. The winner will advance to the tournament finals at Double or Nothing on May 25 to face Will Ospreay. The tournament winner will earn a World title shot at the All In Texas pay-per-view set for Saturday, July 12.

    The finals of the 2025 Owen Hart Foundation women’s tournament are set. Jamie Hayter defeated Kris Statlander in the main event of Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite in the tournament semifinals to advance to the finals at the May 25 Double or Nothing pay-per-view. Hayter will take on TBS Champion Mercedes Mone in the finals.

    Former AEW wrestler Alan Angels has announced that he is no longer with TNA Wrestling after his contract expired. Angels confirmed a report regarding his TNA departure in a social media post Wednesday. The former AEW wrestler and member of The Dark Order stable had been with TNA since November 2022.
