It never gets old for Akron coach Gary Sundown. His Tigers used a relentless offensive attack to clinch their second straight Class D boys lacrosse title with a 19-11 win over East Aurora on Thursday night at All-High Stadium, giving Akron its eighth sectional title and Sundown his fifth sectional title since taking over as head coach in 2017. The game marked the third straight season the two teams played for the Class D title with Akron winning last year and East Aurora winning in 2023.
