Dupont Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4909 and Greater Pittston AMVETS Post 189 held their annual Memorial Day Parade on May 26. The morning began with memorial ceremonies at the cemeteries in town followed by the parade. The day’s events concluded with a service at the monument at the VFW and receptions at the VFW and the Dupont Hose Company.
