    GRAND CHUTE, Wis. (WBAY) - The Seymour Thunder beat Aquinas 5-2 Wednesday morning in a WIAA Division 2 state baseball semifinal at Fox Cities Stadium. In the program’s first-ever trip to state, the Thunder making some noise behind some family connections. Brady Poch drove in Brandon Poch in the 2nd inning.     GRAND CHUTE, Wis. (WBAY) - In the program’s first ever trip to the WIAA State Tournament, the Kewaunee Storm beat Fennimore 5-3 Tuesday afternoon to advance to the Division 3 championship game. The Storm got a stellar pitching performance from junior Brett Paulse, who had 8 strikeouts in the triumph. Kewaunee was held hitless until the 4th inning, where they scored 2 runs on a Brady Pribek triple. The Storm would tack on 3 more runs via a little-league home run. Copyright 2025 WBAY.

    GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - Kaukauna softball beat Preble 2-1 in extra innings Thursday to secure a 5th straight trip to the WIAA Division 1 Softball State Tournament. Both juggernauts had entered the Sectional final undefeated on the season. In Division 2, Denmark beat Waupun 6-3 to advance to Madison. Valders is headed to state in Division 3 after beating Xavier 8-2. Also in D3, Laconia beat Shoreland Lutheran 10-0. Mishicot beat Manawa 6-1 in Division 4 to book a WIAA trip. Enjoy the highlights.
