Trump tariff headaches continue for the local real estate market in what realtors describe as a sporadic and cautious month in April. Compared to 12 months ago, listings were up 9.5 per cent, sales down 15 per cent while the average monthly sales price ($579,910) remained about the same. “We won’t move the needle until we get something done on this tariffs thing,” said Manor Realty general manager Rob Agnew.

The promised pain from the U.S.-Canada trade war is hitting home, with the unemployed ranks in Windsor hitting levels not seen since the height of the Covid pandemic.
