    Pittsburgh police Special Victims Unit detectives are searching for a missing 53-year-old woman. Michelle Walker is described as 5 feet tall, about 130 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen walking from her home in the Homewood neighborhood toward Brushton Avenue at about 3 p.m. on Friday, Sept 13, 2024. Walker was wearing a black spaghetti-strap tank top covered with a black shawl, blue jeans, and black high heels.

    Dec. 22—Police are investigating an incident in Green Tree in which a man fatally shot his relative and then took his own life. Allegheny County Police said a 911 dispatcher was notified of a shooting in the 200 block of Woodridge Drive at about 5:40 p.m.First responders found a man who had been shot in the chest. Officers pulled the victim out of the residence and he was transported to an area hospital, but he later died.
