A Federal High Court in Abuja has adjourned further hearing in the fundamental rights enforcement suit filed by suspended Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan (PDP, Kogi Central) till March 25 to enable the respondents in suit file their responses. The respondents listed in the suit are: the Clerk of the National Assembly, the Senate, the President of the Senate, and Senator Neda Imasuem (erstwhile Chairman of the Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges and Code of Conduct).

The governor said his criticisms of President Tinubu’s administration is from a sense of responsibility and not personal. Three children abducted from Bauchi State and sold in Anambra State have been successfully rescued and reunited with their families through the joint efforts of the Bauchi and Anambra State Police Commands, supported by the Office of the First Lady and the Gender-Based Violence Committee. The handover ceremony took place at the Bauchi Government House, where Bauchi State Commissioner of Police, CP Mohammed Auwal Musa, briefed Governor Bala Mohammed on the successful operation.
