A Poolville man is facing drug charges out of Chenango County. According to the Chenango County Sheriff's Office, a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle in Norwich on June 2nd. An investigation into the stop determined the operator, Nathaniel D. Dibble, was in possession of meth. Dibble was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree and Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia.

The Chenango County Sheriff's Office says a Connecticut man is facing charges after leading police on a chase that eventually ended in Delaware County. According to the office, on May 26th, Yannel Rivera of Bristol, Connecticut was operating a vehicle in the Town of Bainbridge when a traffic stop was attempted for vehicle and traffic law violations. Rivera failed to stop and instead took off, leading deputies on a chase into Delaware County, where he was eventually caught.

The Binghamton Rumble Ponies and Mirabito Stadium have been selected to be one of the hosts of The World's Most Autographed Baseball Summer Road Trip this year. The Ponies are one of 15 teams that will host a giant, eight-foot baseball this summer. The tour will start June 24th in Indianapolis and conclude at MLB headquarters in Manhattan on July 29th. The ball will be at Mirabito Stadium on Saturday, July 12th when the Ponies square off against the Altoona Curve.

A $9.5 million contract was awarded to Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems in Owego. According to a press release on Congressman Nick Langworthy's website, the contract calls for Lockheed Martin to support repairs of H-60 Naval Hawk helicopters for the U.S. Navy. The work is expected to continue through March 2029.
