WICZ-TV serves as the Fox network affiliate in Binghamton, New York, broadcasting digitally on VHF channel 8. The station is owned by Stainless Broadcasting Company, which also runs the MyNetworkTV affiliate, WBPN-LP. Viewers can access WBPN through WICZ's DT2 digital subchannel. WICZ-TV airs its own six o'clock newscast from Monday to Friday and offers a ten o'clock newscast every night of the week.

One person is dead after a stabbing earlier this evening on Washington Street in Binghamton. According to the Binghamton Police Department, at approximately 5:15 P.M., authorities responded to the Salvation Army, at 131 Washington Street for a report of a stabbing. Authorities located a 57-year-old male victim with stab wounds to his shoulder and neck. The victim was transported to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

A 20-year-old Preston man is facing a larceny charge after an investigation by the Chenango County Sheriff's Office. The office says a Town of Norwich business reported merchandise being stolen. The investigation led to Kaleb F. McEwan being the suspect and he was arrested and taken into custody without incident. McEwan was charged with Petit Larceny, released on an appearance ticket, and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
