The Pinelands Regional girls flag football squad accomplished on May 19 something it hadn’t been able to do the previous few seasons. The Wildcats earned a spot in the Shore Conference championship,It wasn’t easy. The second-seeded Wildcats (9-1) relied on their defense to score a second straight shutout during the playoffs, knocking off third-seeded Middletown South, 6-0, and earning the chance to take on top-seeded Rumson-Fair Haven in this week’s title contest.
