    A drone training exercise led to police finding a loaded gun inside a bag at a park in Abington Township, Pennsylvania, police said. The incident took place at Ethel Jordan Memorial Park on Wednesday, May 7. Police told NBC10 two officers were performing a routine drone training exercise when they captured two teenagers who were using marijuana on a picnic bench. After the drones filmed the teens for four to five minutes, the officers approached them. "The two suspects were initially uncooperative.

    A person was killed while another person was injured in a house fire in West Philadelphia Friday afternoon. Firefighters responded to the fire on the 200 block of North Ruby Street shortly before 3 p.m. When they arrived, they found a two-story rowhome heavily engulfed in flames. Officials said they placed the flames under control in about 20 minutes. One person was rescued and taken to the hospital. Another person was found dead inside the home, however.

    A woman was pronounced dead after witnesses say she was thrown out of a vehicle in West Philadelphia Thursday night, according to police. The incident occurred on 50 th Street and Parkside Avenue at 9:18 p.m. Witnesses told police a woman in her 30s was thrown out of a light-colored SUV. The woman was taken to the Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where she was pronounced dead. Police said the woman had road rash as well as a penetrating wound to her chest.

The group clashed with police and many of their practices drew complaints from residents in Philadelphia's Cobbs Creek neighborhood.
