Every year, about 30 players "win" a return trip to Indy for medical rechecks. Chance for follow up visit for players with active injury concerns.
One quick clarification: Penn State DE Abdul Carter is still in Indy for combine medical rechecks (standard for guys injured at the time of the combine), so he won't arrive in Jersey until later in the day. He'll have dinner with the Giants tonight, and his 30 visit tomorrow.
Likely subluxation of same left shoulder on earlier slide into 3rd base where arm got caught behind him. Not season ending but @tatis_jr likely to go back to keeping his top hand on the bat to help protect it when he returns.
