Fans of the Sussexes believe there could have been a poignant reason for Meghan Markle choosing a blue dress for Lilibet to wear on her first birthday. The youngster, who turns three today (June 4), was seen sporting a sweet frock to mark her first birthday in 2022. The company thought to be behind the outfit was founded more than 30 years ago by California designer Isabel Garreton but was set to stop trading shortly after the birthday event.

Anyone with info on a home invasion, and a house fire in Bellambi on Thursday, is being urged call Wollongong Police or Crime Stoppers. Emergency services were called to a house on Sellers Crescent, just after 4.20am Thursday, Police found two men – one aged 47, the other 41 with head injuries, and a house on fire. Police were told two males armed with an axe, and a tyre iron broke into the house, assaulted the two men, and set the place on fire.

An off-duty Police officer, has reportedly been busted for allegedly stealing from an Albion Park store. Investigations began through Lake Illawarra Police, with the female constable from a command in North West Metropolitan Region caught. She’ll face five counts of larceny, in Port Kembla Local Court on Wednesday, 11 October, 2023.

A woman is due to appear in court today charged over a suspicious house fire south of Wollongong. Shortly before 11am on Saturday 24 June 2023, emergency services responded to reports of a house fire on Terry Street, Albion Park. Crews from Fire and Rescue NSW extinguished the fire; however, the building was extensively damaged.

Police are asking for our help for information after fire destroyed a house in Woonona earlier this year. Emergency services were called to Cotteril Avenue, Woonona, about 5.30am on Sunday 19 March 2023, following reports of a house fire. Fire and Rescue NSW extinguished the blaze; however, the entire structure was destroyed.

Al Pacino is set to become a dad again at the age of 82 after it was revealed that his girlfriend Noor Alfallah is eight months pregnant. The Oscar-winning actor's representative confirmed to TMZ that Pacino and Alfallah, 29, are expecting their first child together. The couple have been an item since April 2022, with many sources claiming the two have been seeing each other since the coronavirus pandemic. Pacino is already a father to three children with two women.

The UK saw its hottest day of the year on Tuesday with temperatures rising to over 25C in parts of the country, the Met Office said. The mercury reached 25.1C in Porthmadog, North Wales, beating Sunday’s 2023 record of 24.4C in Plymouth. Scotland and Northern Ireland also recorded their highest temperatures of the year so far at 24.5 in Tyndrum, Stirling, and 24.5C in Castlederg, Co Tyrone.

An animal lover experienced a “magical” part of nature when he stumbled across a winged creature that “looks like a children's toy” in his garden. Lahiru came across the mysterious mini beast fluttering its wings when he spotted a burst of bright pink and yellow in the grass. When he crouched down he encountered a furry Rosy Maple Moth, which was in the process of filling up its wings.

Stars of the new series of Love Island have enabled blind and partially sighted audiences to get to know them by recording self-descriptions for the first time. Self-description allows visually impaired people to learn characteristics including skin colour and hair length. The ITV2 dating show will also be providing an audio tour of the Love Island villa, helping provide a guide to the programme's key locations.
