    I just wonder if we'll see some consistency in our weather. It has sure been breezy, with a couple days here and there of light winds. The good news to all this wind is the fish are still biting.     If you're a weekend warrior, the weather pattern looks to be consistent. You'll be greeted with hazy skies, thanks to the African dust, with winds out of the south at 10-15 miles per hour and most likely stronger during the afternoon hours. Outside air temperature may climb into the 90s, especially in the upper portion of the bay. Capt. Sammy Orlando with Fish409 Guide Service has been back on the water the past couple of days. He runs out of Sea Isle located on the West End.

    Saturday, the West End Anglers hosted their Annual Blackjack Fishing Tournament and Fundraiser. It was held at the West End Restaurants and Marina located in Sea Isle. This was a fundraising event for the Gary J. Lynn Foundation. A great time was had by all who participated. Here are the results from the tournament. Capt.     I just want to thank everyone for all the fishing reports and catch photos. I will get them to print in the order I receive them, so it may be a week delay for your photo to be published. Please keep sending them in, I really appreciate the effort. Snapper season started off with a bang! Fred, David and Andrew Walker along with their friend Michael ventured 50 miles offshore of Galveston. They caught four limits of red snapper, including Fred's personal best, a 22-pounder.
