The Golf Capital Barbershop Chorus (GCC) held their annual banquet on Thursday, Jan. 16, to celebrate another successful year. In addition to the installation of the 2025 officers for the chorus, Derek Thomson was honored as Barbershopper of the Year for 2024. Thompson moved to the Pinehurst area in 2023, and immediately joined the chorus. Since that time, he stepped up and took over the Sing-out program and the Singing Valentines program.
