The study's results say that price is worth it. But although numbers don't lie, they also don't tell the whole story. Local businesses expected to see an uptick in customers during draft week, but those customers never arrived. (WLUK)"We ramped up for everything," said Kendal Koch, owner of Mad Apple Burger & Billiard Co. "We made sure were staffed. We got extra inventory and stuff. And it's really a testament to what Lambeau Field did, because they really retained those customers and kept them there."Instead, it was a fairly normal week -- sentiments that were indicative of the businesses FOX 11 spoke with.

First, Speaker Robin Vos criticized the memo last week. "The very fact that Tony Evers is instructing his employees to either break federal law or not cooperate with law enforcement is a new low for Tony Evers," said Vos, a Republican who serves as speaker of the state assembly and represents the southern part of Racine County. FOX 11 asked his response on the Republican backlash, who say he's encouraging state employees to violate federal law. "That's baloney," said Evers.
