    Peru has officially declared itself free of four diseases affecting rainbow trout, following approval from the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE). The announcement, made by the Peruvian Ministry of Production (Produce) and the National Fisheries and Aquaculture Health and Safety Authority (Sanipes), is expected to boost the country’s aquaculture sector and facilitate international trade.
