    The Bank of Canada is likely to unveil this week that its quantitative-tightening program will come to an end during the second quarter, CIBC Capital Markets says. According to a BOC advisory, deputy governor Toni Gravelle on Thursday is scheduled to deliver remarks regarding the BOC’s balance sheet. Under Canada’s version of QT, securities purchased during the pandemic to help stabilize markets are being allowed to roll off the BOC balance sheet, with the proceeds going uninvested.
