A headline in the March 27 Review-Journal indicated that Clark County Sheriff Kevin McMahill is not in favor of cooperating with federal law enforcement agencies. Obviously, the sheriff didn’t get message coming from Nevadans on Nov. 5 of last year. I sincerely hope he reconsiders his position. Now that an arrest has been made in the local Tesla arsonist incident and considering the suspect’s social media background, it becomes very clear the need for cooperation amongst all of law enforcement.

Mandatory mail-in ballots are an invitation for fraud. They also add to election expenses and cause delays in results. Mail-in ballots should be available upon request to those asking, as was the case prior to COVID. They are no longer needed as an emergency measure and shouldn’t be mandated. Gov. Joe Lombardo should prioritize eliminating this waste and potential for fraud, created in 2020 by legislative Democrats.

We American taxpayers are now witnessing, first-hand, ourselves being ripped off. President Joe Biden is now attempting to fire sale millions of tons of steel we paid for to help seal our nation’s border. God bless America — because, obviously, Biden doesn’t.

As I fell off my fifth wave out of five, I was beginning to feel pretty embarrassed. While I floundered in the water, I was seriously regretting asking a member of staff to take photos of me riding the waves at Lost Shore, Edinburgh’s new surfing resort, which opened on Monday. I’d been warned beforehand that surfing in wave pools can be tricky at first, that it isn’t like catching waves in the sea.

The 401(k) plan is exhausted, savings have shriveled and that monthly Social Security payout doesn’t come close to covering basic monthly expenses. In Florida and elsewhere around the U.S., many retirees are gravitating toward the same solution: They’re “unretiring” and heading back to work. Fort Lauderdale ranks fourth and Hollywood ninth among U.S. cities with the most working seniors, a national survey has found.

As I watched Benjamin Netanyahu’s recent address to Congress, I couldn’t help notice the empty seats belonging to dozens of elected Democrats. Do those missing not have any Jewish constituents, or do they actually represent terrorists? They themselves need to be labeled as a danger to our country, which guarantees freedom of religion. The oath they all took talks about protecting the American people. By ignoring terrorism, they are inviting it to come here next. Did we learn nothing from 9/11?

There is a need for “a systemic change” in workplace culture to better accommodate people with caring responsibilities, concluded Pioneers Post reporter Laura Joffre, who hosted a webinar earlier this month, titled ‘Who cares?
