President-elect Donald Trump has tapped Howard Lutnick, a Long Island native and co-chair of his transition team, to be his Secretary for the Department of Commerce. Before rising to President-elect Trump’s orbit, Lutnick was most well-known for his role as the CEO who rebuilt Cantor Fitzgerald, a brokerage firm, in the aftermath of the September 11 attacks, which saw hundreds of Cantor Fitzgerald employees killed as the building was located in the World Trade Center.

The iPhone 16 is set to be introduced on Sept. 9 during Apple's "Glowtime" event. The glow may refer to Siri's new colorful edge-to-edge design, but we won't know until Apple execs take the stage in Cupertino, which you can watch on Apple.com or YouTube. While we also expect to see a new Apple Watch and AirPods on Sept. 9, the rumored M4 Mac is not likely to appear until October or November. We do have some clues about what to expect from the phone, though.
