People with a fish allergy are being warned not to consume certain products by Canada Dumplings, as the labels do not mention that they may contain traces of the allergen. Quebec’s Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPAQ) issued a warning on Friday, saying that the products were sold in several establishments in the Montreal and Montérégie regions. “They were packaged in a resealable plastic bag or container,” MAPAQ notes. “The products were sold frozen.

Two bodies were fished out of the Saint Lawrence River near Boucherville, on Montreal’s South Shore, on Sunday afternoon. The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) says it received a call from Longueuil police (SPAL) at 2 p.m. seeking help after the bodies were found near Île Grosbois, which is part of the Îles-de-Boucherville national park.

Shots were fired at home in Montreal’s Verdun borough on Sunday evening. Montreal police (SPVM) received a 911 call at 10:10 p.m. about the incident on de la Sagittaire Street near de la Vigne Street. “More than one projectile impact was located on more than one front window of the residence,” said Caroline Chèvrefils, a spokesperson with Montreal police.
